Not to shill for Shutterfly or anything, but they also let you set up 
your own free "share site" which is a web site with predefined features 
like message board, calendar, bulletin board, etc.   Easy to do and free 
- I use them for several non-profit groups that need a web presence but 
don't have a budget.  They'll mail a note every so often promoting 
prints, photobooks, etc but no big deal and no reports of spam after 
several years of using them.
