Two years ago when I purchased a late model EAC R390A from a fellow in Rhode island, he threw in a boat load of extra stuff since he was getting out of SWLing. This thread got me thinking I had seen this book. I went up to the radio room, started digging around and found the 1997 edition! It had been part of the extra stuff included. I had no idea it was really worth anything.

Cecil,
If you want to get a dose of sticker shock, go here:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Shortwave+Receivers+Past+and+Present
The new 1997 version goes for $195!! Anyway, our historic hive kicker,
Les Locklear sent me a free copy of the last printing. He contributed to
the book.
