Introduce a few watts of RF into the antenna and a grid-dip meter in
wavemeter mode can find buried radials.

Yippee!!! Thanks to Bob N0DGN for his recommendation of American Science &
Surplus http://www.sciplus.com/ . This started about the great deal they
have on CR2032 batteries-but I found something there I have been REALLY
wanting to find & get, but couldn't figure out where to even start: 21"
steel 'post' florescent orange signal flags like they use to stick in the
ground to indicate buried pipes/whatever. Why the big deal? I am finally
completing my HyGain HyTower and will need to put in a bunch of radials.
So... if I do this over a period of time, how will I know where I have
already buried a radial (and therefore won't cut an existing one)???
