[R-390] I had a working R-390A before I started (sort of)

When I got this receiver it had a lot of bugs. I have resolved the  
most obnoxious ones. Then I decide to check C553. Yep it was an old  
one. Once that was replaced I said to myself Self! Why not replace all  
the old black an brown caps in the IF Deck. I also did the octal  
socket mod & put the caps in a spare audio deck can.

Once this was all finished I expected some alignment issues.

It's worse than I expected.

The receiver is much less sensitive than before. I started working  
through the TM alignment procedure. So far nothing seems to help.  
Also, My crystal calibrator has gone on the fritz. It sounds very  
garbled an it drifts all over the place. It worked OK before the IF  
recap. What do you think it is?
