GM List,

Do you suffer wrist pain from tuning/listening to your beloved BA receiver?

Well here is the answer!

As the international headlines of financial disaster, prurient politicians, and tragic humanitarian conditions dominate the news, this amazing cure for pain has been invented/discovered (by the same country that still uses rhinoceros horns instead of Viagra/Cialis) has been overlooked by the mainstream press of the world.

But by sneaky, underhanded, devious capitalistic freedom of the internet I have discovered this momentous announcement on the Official KNCA news website. (Very ably watched over by the Dear, Glorious, All Wise and All Caring, Beloved Leader, for not only this Life, But The One After this.

Now I’ve kept you in rapt anticipation long enough so below is the exact quote of the cure for our sore wrists.

Magnetic Needle for Medical Treatment Developed
Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The magnetic needle, developed by the New Material Development Centre under Kim Chaek University of Technology, has been highly appreciated by users.

Vice-Director of the Centre An Pyong Chol told KCNA: "The apparatus works to give far infrared rays and anion, radiated by natural substances, to human body and activate organic current by dint of magnetic power.

The rare-earth magnet is a permanent one widely used in human body treatment. There is no electromagnetic wave harmful to human body as it doesn't need any use of electric and electronic elements. With power unnecessary, its use is not subject to times and places."

An Kyong Hui, chief of the Koryo Medicine Department of Pyongyang Medical College under Kim Il Sung University, said:

"Generally, acupuncture irritates body. But, the magnetic needle is used only to touch any painful region on the user's own hand.

It is efficacious for treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease, autonomic imbalance, facioplegia and other internal organic diseases. (Probably athletes foot and the heartbreak of soriousious (sp) but that wasn’t mentioned.)

It has no side-effect and can be used for a long period, especially for the body organs unfit for acupuncture.

Kang Nam, a 55-year-old man living in Sosong District, Pyongyang, who suffered from arteriosclerosis, said:

"It is so mysterious. My illness has got much better with the use of the needle."

Now, I don’t know the cost of shipping rice or other foodstuffs to Pyongyang but I bet if you address a letter to The Great Eternal Beloved Leader, in care of the Central Committee or whatever term they use, you will get a response post haste!

Write today! Supplies may be limited and/or subject to prior sales. Product may be subject to export restrictions.

Regards,

Perrier
