Yep! One on the bench. Its a rough one. I traded a '67 EAC for a
Northern Radio SP-600. It will serve in the meantime.
I ordered one of the last kits from Kiss-Electronics to rebuild my
AN/URM-25D. It works, but it is time to go through it and replace all
the caps. Meanwhile I'll use an HP-3336B to fill in.
Also have a TS-585D/U for the audio take-off to do things the right way.
I have to wait for good weather to do the front panel. Issues of temp
and/or humidity keep getting in the way of getting it done. Not to
mention family issues. The XYL and I are getting old enough to have
problems. It reduces the time for working on things.
I am hoping that I don't have to open and fix a filter. Worst case,
I'll try and obtain another if it becomes an issue.
Still need to go back and make sure I didn't miss a cap or two. I know
a couple of solder stand-offs need replacing. Have a stock to use.
I quit trying to re-stuff C-603 and C-606. I ordered the pair from
HayseedHamfest. They are great! made very well.
