Al and list,
HAKKO is indeed your friend when re-capping an SP-600. The turret work is completely non-forgiving; one doesn't want to break anything, create a solder bridge, burn components or insulation.
I'm thinking of going to Dayton this year. Will probably hang out at Hi-Res Communications and Kenwood booths. Hi-Res does all the videos and people sometimes have questions. Maybe can see you and others there.
