Todd & Barry,

I didn't introduce any drama.  Todd, I intentionally did NOT single you 
out.  It *was* generalized.

I've mentioned items for sale to list members on about a half dozen 
other lists.  All I got was a pile of grief.

The same comments were given by a bunch of folks.

I offered to part out the Iron components.  Got the same grief.

I send folks parts with no prior notification.  Sometimes I ask for a 
little help for shipping.

There have been a number of pieces, NOT uncommon, that I simply took to 
the Hazardous Waste site.

Perry has contributed a LOT to the group, and has worked hard on the 
Y2k3 docs.  I sincerely hope he is successful in his pursuit.

I only brought up the "comment" that the market will be the determinant, 
as this is what will always be the worth of anything that is placed up 
for sale.

I'm working on sending a piece of gear to someone on another list, as he 
mentioned that he never had one.  He wasn't even looking for one.

I take those conversations direct and off-list.

It is only waiting for a "pause" in the current care for my XYL.

So weigh all the pieces.  Then make a reasonable comment.  I'm certainly 
NOT some "List Police".  I don't get in the middle of "Singling out" 
anyone.  The only exception is when someone gets personal.  I usually 
take it direct, and avoid "public" conversations.
