I suspect that's why George wasn't interested. Don't take this wrong, as I
believe in anyone's right to ask or sell for whatever they choose. But
$1200 for a rough SP-600 whose only claim to fame is that it's slightly
different than its more numerous siblings is, IMO, a stretch. I've only
seen one or two of these sell over the years, in average condition, for
somewhere in the $600-$800 range IIRC. About double the selling price of a
typical -600, which makes sense.
Consider it a plea of ignorance - what sets this version of the receiver
apart and makes it (potentially) much more valuable than other similar
examples aside from low production numbers? Does it have some great utility
that I'm missing out on?
