[R-390] Trouble with Pearls

The basic idea behind Pearls was to collate the technical information contained in everyone's posts into useful blocs for anyone to use. I exercised editorial perogative to organize them into files of my choosing; to strip out blatantly political or personal portions; and eliminating entire duplication of earlier threads. Each file is 95% complete going back to 1997 and any errors in inclusion, exclusion, or filing are mine and mine alone.  Some members do not have broadband, but rely on a slower connection, so producing a large 35mB single file is impractical for them to download.By separating the posts by subject matter, members can download just those files that interest them, and forget the rest. 


Filing all the different posts by subject is a qualitative judgement, and some will undoubtedly have strong ideas of how to organize all the various posts. They will not agree with my scheme. They are free to do their own editing and organization from all of the postings to this list.
