Of all the things to replace, the panel would be at the bottom of my 
list, especially since the engraved ones are available.   The cheap 
switch and lamp additions certainly do not add value IMHO.   Odder still 
is the lack of any kind of description or commentary about the receiver 
or mods, especially from a seller who purports to be a professional 
restorer and would know these questions would come up.

I think some modifications that represent needed improvements aren't all 
bad, but this ain't one of 'em.
