[R-390] X RF Deck Tube Optimization

I have found this compilation just wonderful. May Motorola works pretty good but has a couple of issues and really needs a good cleaning. One of the thing I noticed going through it recently is that the lower (side) adjustment for the 8MHz mech filter has no effect and that the center of the 8MHz bandwidth is offset from the rest. Not sure yet what it might be and haven't had the time to look to far.

When I saw that Tisha was taking on the task of Y2K Rev 4 and was wondering about getting the schematics into a DXF format so that mods and such would be easy for some using a free editor I volunteered to give it a go. I used to do PCB design and have some professional grade (albeit not top of the line) software for doing the job. It will take some time, but I consider it a privilege to be part of the project.

Roger, where were you an instructor? I was a Ground Radio student at Keesler in the spring of '77.

Barry,

I suggested that Tisha collect all of this and add to the Y2KR4 document.

This is ALL information condensed into meaningful and *VERY* useful
information for ALL.

I note Roger's MOS: 33C4H. The significance is that the "H" stands for
INSTRUCTOR!
