Mine has the micro dial mod but no MWO stenciled on front to denote
it. There is an old ASA sticker on back, haven't seen it in years. It
basically adds vernier/fine tuning in place of the more coarse BFO
knob. A 5 minute job at most if you have the dial and wrenches handy.

IIRC, Columbia Electronics actually modified a bunch of A models for
SSB for the Mexican gov't. They do surface occasionally. but not
often.
