[R-390] Tube Gettering / OT tube nostalgia

Speaking of old tubes like 1625's et al:
By coincidence I was monitoring a west coast round table ragchew last night on 75 meters while I was working on a project in the radio room and the topic turned to post world war II common low power final tubes - 807, 807W, 1625, 829B - regarding which tubes had which filament voltages, what the max. frequency ratings were, what tubes were used in what surplus and commercial equipment, etc.  Very enjoyable and a real stroll down memory lane!  It brought back fond memories of my novice ARC-5 equipment....
