[R-390] Non-A alignment question

Paul,
Congratulations on solving your '390 alignment problem. Someone must have
been in there who had no clue on how to go about making an alignment. It
sounds like you are well on your way to bringing one of those fine receivers
back to life.

I had passed on the opportunity to pick up a "non A" 390 a few years ago
that was in immaculate condition and worked perfectly. (the guy was
practically begging me to buy it). On the drive home I was kicking myself in
the behind, but I had set an absolute limit on what I was going to spend
that day and that one purchase would have blown the bank.

(sometimes the mortgage does have to be more important than a radio).
