Nice tip, Roy, and thanks for that.

I think you are referring to the CX-1363/U test lead.  I dashed over to mine and checked it for leakage and it's OK.  It happens to be one I made using new components in an identical housing, but it never dawned on me that vintage units should be checked for sure.

The test lead can be viewed on page 2-10 of the URM-25D manual TM 11-5551-D.  It's simply a blocking capacitor network comprised of a .1 mF @ 400VDC capacitor in parallel with a 510 pF @ 500VDC mica capacitor.
