[R-390] Non-A alignment question

I had that happen on a R-390A many years ago, turned out to be one of 
those tiny temperature compensating caps 10 mmf? Inside the pto 
(progressitron pto) it had broken the solder joint, but would make 
intermittent contact. If I remember this one was consistently 120 kc up 
the band. YMMV
