[R-390] Suggestions for SSB adapter for R-392?

Bob,
You bring up a good point about the AM band monitoring.  THAT was what 
really sparked my interest in radio altogether.  My very first radio was a 
little single transistor (probably with a diode detector, I frankly have 
forgotten) that would only receive the local AM station till it signed off 
at 10pm.  Then the WHOLE WORLD seemed to open up and I could DX till I fell 
asleep!!  I couldn't have been more than 10, so around 1957.  Thanks for 
bringing that up, it made me start reading all I could find and then I built 
the Knightkit Span Master.  Wondrous little rig.
