[R-390] Why polished radios?

That is the one thing that absolutely make ANY sense!

It is NOT restricted to R-390(x)s either!  I've seen the same done to 
Hallicrafters rigs and some others.

The fools do NOT realize the long term damage done by corrosion by doing 
this.

The coating, (alodining), and the Moisture/fungus proofing demonstrate 
that these were done for a VERY good reason!

Insanity just seems to be rampant!
