[R-390] First radio thread

My first radio was a regenerative SW radio that my father and I built together.  It was not a kit.  He got the gray-crinkle chassis and we cut the holes and mounted the parts where he said they should go.  It worked great and it highly impressed my older cousins when I showed it to them.  Sure wish I still had it.

He helped me build two CW transmitters in my novice and early general-class days.  Wish I had them as well.
