Well, I have to chime in here, Yep, Tom is sick. I've been down that road, but have taken the cure a few years back. The present count (of what I once owned stands at 147), but, I'm down to this short list:
1- SP-600 Modified by John R. Leary with product detector.
1- Hammarlund HQ-150 used for mw dx work with a Quantum Loop.
1- Palstar R30
1- Icom IC-746 Frankenradio modified to receive from dc to daylight and extra am filters.
3- Wood radios, 2 1936 Zeniths and 1- 1940 Philco
1- C. Crane EP portable radio.
When I croak, it will be easy for the wife to clean it out. Cecil will do it if I go before he does and vice versa.
Notice, no R-390 series.........why would I need one now?
Oh, location, as the crow flies, I'm less than 2 miles from the Mississippi Sound (otherwise known as the Gulf of Mexico).

Hi Jerry,
Isn't the URM-23B mouth enuf? 1kw out, 24/7, all mode. In operating
condx, a great shack heater. It'd like a new home tho'. I didn't list
the other "lesser" items, incl. a bit of BA xmtg gear. No T-368, but
have thought about that one.
73,
Al, W8UT
