[R-390] R390A/URR Schematics

I’m in the process of reproducing parts of TM11-4000 titled TROUBLESHOTING AND REPAIR OF RADIO EQUIPMENT published April 1958.  This will take me a while.

In teaching the repair of shortwave radios, although not stated as such, it uses a very large schematic of the R390A/URR.

I went to Kinko’s/FedEx and had the schematic and the block diagram copied.  They are of excellent quality.

The two receiver schematics when put together have a printed area of 22 inches wide by 56 inches long and borders about 2 inches on each side.  The area of the block diagram is 9 inches high and 19 inches wide with 2 inch borders.

I’m working on digitizing the schematic so one could take it to an equivalent printing facility and having copies made but I probably won’t get this done for several months.  When finished I’ll sell the CD and will post the files on the FAQ list as they are far too large to email.

I have 8 sets available.  I will mail them in the US/Canada for $15 for all three postpaid folded or $20 postpaid in a mailing tube.  I am willing to send them overseas for what additional postage is required.

For me the advantage of these is I can color code the traces and see where every signal goes easily.
