I have installed Corcom AC units in all of my BA's. Once you take off the
original 50 year old filter, just file a little to square up the round hole
and the Corcom fits inside real nice. I have no problems with the minor
cosmetic changes, seeing as how none of my gear is going to be judged on
looks, and anyway, no-one can see it once it is in its operating position.

Electrically speaking, the Corcom just does the job IMHO.

One caveat: be SURE that the hot side of the line goes to the fuse and
microswitch. That was not the case on one of my 390A's when I got it.
