It varies from the "While an overhaul such as this goes far beyond the norm, this receiver is also far beyond the norm" on to the end of the ad. That said, the stuff about the audio mods is not shown when I view the ad.

Sure - I use a variety of browsers to test various things -
and one time I viewed the auction I used an older version -
and the ad's content was considerably different. eBay is
using Java to "serve" pages depending on what browser one is
using. This works well with any of the newer ones - but
sometimes fails (sometimes really badly). I think that's why
some are seeing some rather "odd" stuff. My *GUESS* is
that the seller used some copy and paste - then edited it to
what they wanted. However - even that process can have
undesired results as Java is used to "build" the displayed
areas (eBay "serves" the description- if you look at the
page source - you'll find only a URL with Java directives -
not the actual description) - and sometimes what get's
"displayed" isn't what was intended... Again - the older
- less capable (i.e. compatible) browser used to view - the
more "odd" the display can be...

In this case - (opinion / guess here) people using newer
browsers are seeing what the seller intended - people using
some older / less compatible browsers are seeing some "left
overs" that might not have been intended...

Just my .02.
