[R-390] What's in the window?

The tube in the last picture is almost certainly the removed-now-spare ballast tube mentioned in the item description. The lettering looks identical to every other ballast tubes I've seen.

The "componentless board" is the Utah plate.

Looking at the parts, I'd say it was an audio amplifier.
Don't know why the speaker wire is shielded, though.
 
The last picture is equally enigmatic, but it contains a
speaker. No telling what the tube on the componentless
board would be.

Perhaps the oval shaped opening in the third picture is
the back of the black speaker in the last picture.

Why not ask the seller? He was a regular on this list.
