Hi all,

Just finished re-building my previously non-working Teledyne 390-A, lined it up and all seems fine. Thanks to all who helped me.

To finish it nicely, I need the following:

1.	A screening can for the bandwidth filters on the IF strip.
2.	A standard small 390-A knob
3.	Some shaft clamps

Re- the last item, how many sizes are there on the 390-A? The one I particularly need is for the BFO shaft coupler, but I see that
some of the gears on mine appear to be held in with home-made jobs. Also, are these clamps the ones called "No-Mar"?

I have two 390-As, each with apparently original modules. Certainly all the contract numbers tie up. One I intend to keep as
original, and the other may be "upgraded" with some of the Y2k ideas.

PEARS (Port Elizabeth Amateur Radio Society) have asked me to give a talk at the January meeting on Incremental Tuning (separate MHz
and kHz - it wasn't always so!) The R390 must have been the first production radio to have this facility, so I'll be going through
the Brute Force and Money(R390), Wadley Loop (RA17, FRG-7) and Programmable Divider (R1000 on) approaches.
