Pete,

I have not read of the Chinese reverse engineering the whole receiver and 
getting it back into production yet. But someone over there thinks there is 
at least a market for parts and is trying to get some items back into 
production and generate a cash flow on the parts to move the business along. I am 
watching for the mechanical filters to come into production. They may or may 
not. The units mite be form and fit of the can and modern ceramic filters 
inside.  I have no real knowledge of what's driving the market.

Happy to read that you were able to repair your unit and get your receiver 
going again nice to read good news.
