[R-390] security classification

I have seen numerous statements that the 390 and 390A were classified. I 
have never seen a manual with secret or other stamped across it and am 
thinking this is just another tale that had been passed on and on untill it 
takes on a life of its own.  Like the so called Bermuda triangle.  Does 
anyone have FIRST HAND knowledge?   The number is use and record keeping for 
classified material would have made this nearly impossible.  Thanks Bernie
