[R-390] OT: dial cord/string

For years I've used a spool of heavy Dacron thread meant for wrapping 
bow strings (purchased the spool at an archery shop). Dacron is easier 
to handle and knot than Kevlar-based fishing line, but almost as 
"non-stretchy". Very wear-resistant, too.
