What is the closest match OTC gray spray can paint for refinishing an 
engraved R390-A front panel?

ANSI 49 gray.

Still used by Square D on cabinets, structures and boxes.

Look for is as spray paint on line as ANSI 49 GRAY.

The spray stuff goes well with the powered coat stuff being painted on the 
paint lines and baked. The color is carried down from the military gray 
color since Patton was a private.
