I have my Outlook mail client set up to check messages when they arrive and
automatically route ones from various lists I subscribe to, to various
subfolders of the inbox.  After that 'auto-sorting' is done all that's left
in the top level of the inbox is the spam and I can just trash that
wholesale.  YMMV.

I am sorry that I have not seen any emails sent to me lately.
I am getting over 250 emails a day from the internet marketing GURUS AND
WANNABE GURUS i AM SLOWLY WEEDING THEM OUT THEY ALL USE AUTO AUTO
AUTO-RESPONDERS SO YOU HAVE TO GO TO EACH ONE AND OPT OUT I AM SORRY AS
OF RIGHT NOW I HAVE OVER 17000 UN READ EMAILS. ON DEC.5TH I WAS DOWN TO
11250.
THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING ALL KINDS OF MONEY SO THEY SAY LIKE 10 TO 15K
PER MONTH THEY ARE A TRUE PITA. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CATCH ALL OF THE
RELATED PERSONAL AND HAM RELATED EMAILS BUT AM MISSING SOME  FOR SURE. I
HATE THE IDEA OF CHANGING MY EMAIL ADDY AS THAT WOULD BE BIG PITA FOR
ALL CONCERNED
