A lot of hot-rod and chopper and crotch-rocket [...er, sportbike] shops have
nitrogen for 'airing' up tires, makes for less change in the vehicle's
handling as a function of tire temp, supposedly.

Yes, my Cosmos PTO did have a schrader valve.  In my case, it can be seen at
the back of the Cosmos
once the outer case has been removed. I assumed that they were all made that
way. I'm thinking that I will
try to repressurize the unit if I can find a source of dry nitrogen in the
area.  My first thought is to approach
the Chemistry Department of a local University.
