Thanks for your comments and advice. I like your idea about add capacitance as my search of the literature on the subject shows that this is not a once and done adjustment. Instead, I see that the endpoint needs to be looked at annually as the endpoint frequency continues to decrease over ten turns as a funtion of time.

Also, I was happy to see slotted screws so I MAY try to adjust linearization. I have a frequency counter. The question is do I have the patience.
