Richard,

Yes, C's were gereral receivers from DC to day light.

I see you were a F and thus specilized in some digital stuff that will 
still get you shot for discussing in detail and a G.

I think the G's were the direction finding stuff. More flavors of that than 
most people would guess. 

The thing we all had in common was R390's and lots of them. When every 
thing else was done there was an operator standing in the door wanting a reciver 
fixed, and at least one R390 needing to be located and hauled to the shop 
for PM. Most of us 33's  worked 6 out of 8 days and at least 8 hours. Shifts 
rotated days swings and mids. Long break was between mids and day shift. 
Days were the worse shift, You had all the day stuff to do like escort and burn 
detail and going to sick call and still had to get the work done. If you 
had volunteered and like being an instructor at the school house, Ft Devens 
could be fun. If you were not into the Army games and could do it with ease 
then being at Ft Devens was just another hell of its own.

So were you from the time of Connies or after?
