I daresay that after such an event we would have much more use for 
the guns and ammuntion we put away than for any radios.  Sad to say, 
but nevertheless true, I believe.  Anybody have any data on whether 
live .308 cartridges would survive an EMP?  (Unless they would 
detonate, I don't see why not.)
