Yep!  It was a submarine crew that came ashore and found the radio 
beying keyed by something attached to a window shade.

The crew went in search of survivors of a nuclear war.  They heard the 
signal and took bearings to determine where the signal was coming from.

Boy, does THAT bring back memories of old!
