[R-390] Yard sale find

Reminds me of the time my xyl and I had stopped at a yard sale. Come to find
out the gentleman had passed away and was retired military. Some how the
conversation turned to radio and I was escorted to the garage where there
sat two, yes two, SX-88 Hallicrafters. I was told that they were going to
the dump if I didn't take them. Well, you didn't have to twist my arm to
much to load them up in the Yukon.
Regards,
Gary...WZ1M

Just think how close that R-391 came to being dumpster bait. If it
was only worth $20 to the guy that sold it, it is a miracle it made it
into the hands of someone who is interested in it at all!

I'm glad he found it before it got trashed.
