The specific radioisotope is Radium, Ra 226.

It is an alpha particle emitter.  It has an identical Atomic Mass as a 
Helium atom.

It CANNOT penetrate the skin, paper, or anything similar.

YOU HAVE TO INGEST IT TO GET IT IN YOU or TO RECEIVE DAMAGE FROM IT.
