Yes indeed.  I have thought of what it would take to rewind the 70H-1  
PTO coil and do the needed linearity alignment.. Daunting.

But a solly state modern functional equivalent should be feasible to  
implement.  So, you solid state familiar folks, do carry on and make  
what we need.  You may be able to sell 25 of them or more, and make  
about forty cents an hour for your labors.
