[R-390] what other Collins boatanchor to compliment the R-390A?

Read on the Collins reflector archives at QTH for a few days.

Collins made some great SSB and AM stuff to go with the R390's.

Once you find some models of interest do some E-bay searches for prices.

Almost any thing you can find and buy will be worth it.

You almost need to go CW or SSB.

AM is limited to some select frequencies in the band plans.
