[R-390] Role of the 3TF7 in PTO frequency changes

I just saw this reply to the subject post ...(If possible I'd avoid any
soldering in the radio) by sigmapert I think and have to ask....
How do you replace soldered in parts like caps without soldering in the new
ones ???. If I missed something.. my apology, if not.. Please explain. Best
