You can set up an experiment and see if it will work. You will need a variac, 120 to 25 volt stepdown transformer, two 6ba6 tubes and your ballast. Using clip leads (you can't have too many of these) connect the 25 vac, two 6ba6 filaments, and the ballast tube in series. Attach the variac to the primary of the step-down transformer and vary the voltage from about 130v to 105v. How well is 6 volts maintained across one of the 6ba6 tubes?

 Hi Gang,
 
 I have run across an Victoreen 300-8 ballast. It looks just like the 3TF7
does anybody know if it will work?
 
 Also found some Western Electric 6140's. Does anybody know what they cross reference to?
