[R-390] eBay Funny of the Week

Hi Guys,

So what do you think is broken?  The Oscillator, the Scope or 
Both!  Or is it that tenuous looking wire that's snaking all over 
creation?  That photo really DOES say a thousand words.

BTW, the IF deck problem points back to the tubes in the 6BA6 stages 
so I grabulated onto a sleeve of five NIB/NOS, JAN 5749W's.  Only ONE 
of the five NIB tubes does not inject hum onto the signal.  I don't 
have a tube tester so I can't play that game right now.  That does 
however give me three tubes that do "work" - the single NIB 5749W and 
two 6BA6's from Jon's Vacuum Tube Graveyard (6BA6's did test 
ok).  Sorry but this kind of baloney just ain't right.
