Hi Gang:

I had hoped that by now the manual reprints would be done and shipped off to
you. However, as you know this has not happened and here's why.

I became involved with working on a hamfest (actually a convention) in
Massachusetts and this became more time consuming that originally planned.
However the convention was held last week and is now thankfully over until
2010.

Now I have the time available to get this project under way. I plan on
starting production early next week.

For those of you who paid with PayPal your copies will be the first to go
out. Those of you who sent checks please note that I have not cashed them.
I will deposit them when I foresee an actual shipping date.

73,

Michael, W1RC

PS: I recently acquired an original of NAVSHIPS 91678 (dated 6 June 1952).
This is the manual for the Radio Receiving Set AN/URR-23A. You may
recognize this radio under its Army/Air Force nomenclature, the R-388 or the
civilian model number 51J-3.

This is a very rare manual. I didn't know it even existed. It is a very
thorough manual unlike the Army or Collins Radio manual that is commonly
available.

If there is sufficient demand I will reprint it.
