[R-390] melting metals

Hi,
You folks have brought me a nice smile while reading the "solder" comments. 

I gave my son kit after kit of DIY simple electronics devices, and taught him
how to solder when he was young. I was amazed at how quickly he picked it up.

In later years, I taught him to TIG weld and cut w/ an Oxy-Acetlyene rig. ?

I'll never know if these skills will pay any dividends for him in the future (he is still in High school),
but I sure had fun teaching him!
