[R-390] You don't see this every day... World War II Aircraft (NOT!) Radio Transmitter New in Crate

As I mentioned before, the Navy TAJ series transmitters are NOT  
aircraft transmitters. Several Navy museum ships are always looking  
for original radio equipment for the restoration of their radio rooms.  
Some of them have licenses to operate on the 500 KHz maritime  
frequencies.
Also, a transmitter like this would be useful to a ham when the 500  
KHz band is allocated to amateurs. Even now there are some  
experimental licenses are in effect and there is some amateur activity  
there by these licensees.
It'd be a shame to "part out" a complete TAJ, furthermore it'd be a  
bit costly to pay the asking price for "parts"...
