[R-390] 8640b gear question

Another list member asked me the same question off-line, and I'm 
trying to find the source for the brass gear.  As far as I know, the 
seller made only the large gear in brass, because it is the only one 
large enough to shrink enough to cause skipping -- but I could be 
wrong.  I'll post the information when I find it, but if anybody else 
knows, please feel free to do so.

Heck, if there's enough demand, perhaps I'll tool up to make 
some.  Anybody have an 8640B gear set to use as a model?  (Not 
enthused about tearing mine apart if I can find one that is already 
apart and doesn't need to go back together....)
