Hi, a bit off topic but I'm asking if anyone is familiar with something
called "Analization Chart" for depicting the nature or performance of radio
circuits. I have a 33 tube set for which the previous owner, a deceased
radio station engineer, left behind some notes including some handwritten
schematic-like diagrams which he titled analization charts. They show a
series of successive stages in the set with each tube identified with bypass
impedances to ground shown along the impedance path to a common hv line
across the bottom. The tube of most stages is represented by a block with
no obvious depiction of grid, plate, cathode etc. In some cases, a grid or
screen like symbol is shown, with the impedance of that symbol to ground
and the hv line indicated. Perhaps someone has used such diagrams in their
work. The analysis is probably from about 1955 to 1965. From his notes, I
know he used this radio to transcribe foreign sw broadcasts to the station
transmitter where he worked in western WA. I've identified some of the mods
he did, some of which I'll undo, and I ran across these charts in looking
at his notes. Notify me off list if you think this is of little interest to
others. thanks, Dan.

I believe "analization" or "analyzation" is simply a gramatically
incorrect way to form a noun from the verb "to analyze." In other
words, it means "analysis." The charts sound like an attempt to
analyze the operation of each stage.

Best regards,

Don
