[R-390] Lubricating RF slugs [WAS: Need R-390A Iron Core Slug]

If you let the drippings from the Kielbasa cool they form a waxy lubricant
that can be used to lubricate most anything. I would think putting a tiny
bit of that on the core and slipping it back into the coil form would
prevent future binding problems. I would spin it around a bit to distribute
it evenly.

Since the Kielbasa is neither a current nor voltage regulator as used to
replace the 3TF7 (actually a Beer Regulator) it usually generates very
little in the way of drippings. So those it does produce are quite
valuable. I'm surprised someone hasn't captured that stuff and put it in a
tube for marketing on the bay....

I'm working on a synthetic Kielbasa lubricant but I'm having a bit of
trouble getting the synthetic Kielbasa to work properly due to parasitic
oscillations in the synthetic fat molecules. Makes a heck of a mess when
that happens. Been trying it on an ole "Blue Striper" though...maybe the
residual moisture leaking from all those cracked BBOD is causing me a
problem.

More from the lab later...

Cecil...
