[R-390] Looking for a clean, working R-390A NOT in colllectors quality

Guys,

The hams here at work are helping a new, but older, ham in the Denver area who likes to do DXing on the AM broadcast band.  As he is a checker in a grocery store, he has essentially no money for anything other than survival..

As a result the hams here at work are all going to chip in and buy him an R-390A receiver.  He tried one once and fell in love with it.  Right now he is using an Icom IC-718 (that we bought him when he got his license) for AM DXing as well as HF operation, but it really only takes one exposure to an R-390A to get "hooked."

If you have a clean, working R-390A that you would like to sell for a reasonable price, please let me know.  If you sell us your R-390A and you are in the Denver area you really should tag along with us when we give it to him.  This gentleman is the nicest guy you'd ever meet so we want to give him a really nice Christmas present.
